For the fourth straight month, home sale prices in all nine Central Indiana counties year-to-date through October have increased over 2009 by nearly 9%. Pended home sales are down almost 41% over last year at this time. I feel we are seeing the impact of the tax stimulus credit. However, the rates are still holding at 4.25% and Indiana Housing just released rates at 3.99% which is a precursor for interest rates lowering. The guess at this point is that rates are going to dip into the low to mid 3% range.
